An excuse to find out what the Discord API is like, which turned into something the servers I am on actually use.

It answers the small questions a server keeps asking. What is today’s unusual holiday - pulled straight from the Ferrio API, so the bot and the apps always agree. What did somebody say. Who has posted most today: it counts messages per day for everyone on the server and puts the results in a leaderboard, which turns out to be more divisive than anything else it does.

The bot stores nothing. There is no database behind it and no record of who said what, which makes the privacy policy short and the maintenance shorter.
